Our first camping trip is planned. We are heading out to Matagorda on May 14th - May 16th. We didn't get a waterfront spot this time, but that's ok. We are using this trip as a 'check everything out' trip to see if we might want to go again. We still have to do a big shopping trip to get the camper stocked and then we'll be on our way.
We are staying at the Matagorda Bay RV Park and Nature Center. It's located where the Colorado River meets the Gulf of Mexico. We are excited!
